Ashura Kokuhou (国宝阿修羅 (Kokuhō Ashura?) is the best friend of Youta Narukami. Ashura has shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair that is tied in a low ponytail and amber colored eyes. He wears a white button up dress shirt over a burnt orange shirt, black pants, and shoes. Ashura is shown to be a bit of a hot-head who is annoyed by Hina Satō's pretentious attitude. Ashura plays a game of basketball with Youta Narukami until the two are met by a girl who is also a self pro-claimed god named Odin.
