George R. Oliver is a member of the Raytheon Technologies Board of Directors. He brings expertise in public company executive leadership, global commercial operations, technology and strategy development. Oliver served as a member of the Raytheon Company board from 2013 until the closing of the merger between Raytheon Company and United Technologies Corporation, when he was appointed to the Raytheon Technologies board. He is chairman and chief executive officer of Johnson Controls International plc. He was the chief executive officer and a director of Tyco International Ltd. prior to its merger with Johnson Controls, and before that he was president of Tyco Fire Protection, Tyco Electrical & Metal Products and Tyco Safety Products. Before joining Tyco, he served in operational leadership roles of increasing responsibility at several General Electric divisions. Oliver serves on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Board of Trustees, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Trustees and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee Board of Directors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
