Winston is a red engine of the NWR. Winston is a generally nice and kind engine. He is shown to be good friends with Thomas, and helped to comfort him and teach him how to shunt after Lily lost her patience with him. However, Winston can get annoyed easily, especially during the war when he said he wanted to shunt a munitions train into the sea.
