Like The Boys, Invincible is another violent take on superheroes on Prime, but one that feels like more of a throwback. Based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible stars The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, who discovers one day that he’s inherited his father’s superpowers. Despite a big twist and a fun cast, the animated series isn’t quite as groundbreaking as the Image comic, but maybe it doesn’t have to be.
